A Licensed Professional Counselor, LPC MA, yoga teacher and mental health enthusiast. Passionate about sharing my thoughts, information and experience on everything that makes my days better and my clients.
A little more about me, I have a Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capital University. I received my Bachlores of Science in Human Ecology from The Ohio State University in 2006.
I have a decade of experience working in corporate environments in retail e-commerce and marketing. Which is way its important to me to have a presence in the online space to share my passion for mental health and wellness with those I can't reach on a daily basis.
I am a 200-hour registered yoga teacher with five (5)+ years of experience teaching classes at various studios and corporations .
I believe that despite what has happened in the past or what is happening in the present you can rewrite your own story by being intentional about your own well-being. You are the expert of you, bit I would love to help guide you to feeling your best and living the life you deserve.
In my work with clients and what I hope to share with you is my utilization of a person-centered strengths-based approaches, engaging in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness and yoga practices.
My learnings, experience and content are for individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, postpartum onset of depression, mood fluctuations, relationship issues for couples, families, parents, and adolescents. As well as, those struggling with self-worth, body-image, self-care and navigating the transitions of life.
